It’s gone faster than a stampede of squirrels, but BEAR is nearly one year old and we’d like you to join us in the woods to celebrate. We’re heading down to Alice Holt Forest in Surrey for the day for some adventures in and around the trees. Adults and kids alike are invited, there’ll be cake, nibbles and of course BEAR himself.
Please RSVP below so we know how many goody bags to make and cakes to bake. When you RSVP you can also chose to enter the competition to win one of 10 pairs of tickets to join the BEAR team at Go Ape in the morning & Bushcraft skills in the afternoon. (10 years + for Go Ape and Bushcraft)
When: Saturday 23rd October (it’s during half term)
Where: Alice Holt Forest, GU10 4LS – directions
Who: Everyone (bring the dog)
Here’s the plan:
11am-12noon: Tree Time
You’ve got over 2000 acres
of forest to play with, but
BEAR will be over at the
Timberline Trail, the 3D maze
and the Habitat Trail too.
Competition winners need to
be in the forest early for
Go Ape starting at 9am.
Bright eyed and bushy tailed.
12 noon: Lunch
After a morning in the forest
you’ll have built up a fierce
appetite for lunch. You bring
the sandwiches (they sell some
at the cafe there too) and we’ll
take care of all the nibbles and cake.
1-3pm: BEAR fact hunt
Cake needs strolling off. So head out
with the BEAR fact hunt map into the
trees and find all the animal families
from our Yo Yo cards hiding at each stop.
(All ages – 2km trail)
There’ll be lots of BEAR helpers around on the day to make sure you don’t get lost in the woods. Grrr
If you want to find out anything else about the day, just give the team a growl on 0845 519 3266 or email us grrr@bearnibbles.co.uk. Once you RSVP, we’ll send you a reminder and details a week before BEAR’s birthday.
