Here at BEAR we care about nature so our goal is to use renewable raw materials and create packaging that can be recycled or used as an environment-friendly bio-fuel.

Today 50% of our cardboard is recycled and any other paper and cardboard we use always comes from FSC accredited suppliers.  Look on the bottom of all our boxes you’ll see the little FSC tree logo.

Our bags are made from 90% paper and 10% plastic (by weight). We’ve reduced the amount of plastic (a non renewable resource) we use to the Bear minimum needed to be able heat seal our bags and keep our nibbles fresh inside.

Our multiboxes are made from very thin board, measuring just 250gsm thickness. By comparison most business cards are 350-400gsm. We also make sure the bags in the box are a very snug fit so there’s absolutely no packaging waste.

What’s the FSC?

The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) is an independent, non-governmental, not for profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests.
Products carrying the FSC label are independently certified to assure consumers that they come from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations.
